| Annual Events
At Am Tikva, we bring our members together through programs and worship. Each year, we can look forward to meeting new people and kindling long-lasting friendships. Through big events and small, we bring to the community a closeness that larger synagogues cannot mimic. Then there are the programs that we have each year that to most are the jewels in Am Tikva's crown. Our High Holy Days services give a change for our members to worship and get reacquanted with friends they have not seen since the last New Year. For many it is the pinnacle of the Am Tikva experience. Each Passover season we hold a 3rd Passover Seder, giving our community another chance to eat, drink, and celebrate our freedom from bondage. Each June, as GLBT communities across the country (and the world) celebrate Pride, here at Am Tikva we hold a seder of another sort. We recount the trials and tribulations that the GLBT community has had to endure through the years to gain the respect in the community that we rightly deserve.
