| Erev Pride Liberation Seder
Ever wonder why we celebrate Gay Pride every year? Is it just because its something fun to do in June?
Our Erev Pride Liberation Seder unravels all the mysteries of Pride. We begin where it all began at the Stonewall Inn in New York City on June 27, 1969. Learn the history of the GLBT Rights movement, and the struggles our community has had to endure. We recount this story the same way we recount the story of Passover; through a Seder. A story is told, questions are asked, and answers are given. There is song and music and is just an all around fun way to say I'm proud of my GLBT background. This year's Seder takes place on June 9th at 8:00pm at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Avenue, Boston. The program is open to all, and best of all its free!
